“From the watery depths of Walter TV comes another gurgling homage to surf rock, blanketed with a comedic strangeness that we’ve come to expect from Mac DeMarco’s backing band. In the middle of a tour with this festival season’s champion, the nomadic Canadian group have carved out an interesting and slightly more complex approach to their music. Though it is fair to say that their marbles are still loosely scattered everywhere. There’s a sweet and sunny vibe emanating from between the little punk-y riffs, like the twinkling guitar on “Paranormal Witness”. It has to be the quickest and most casual imaginative transport you’ll get to the beach, with a beer in hand and sea foam between your toes, wondering if you actually have “seen this TV show” that the crazy Canadians keep asking you about. They dive straight back into a world of ridiculous editing in their music videos, giving stray Youtubers a bewildered laugh – though it’s intentional, of course. They probably will not be winning any MTV music video award anytime soon.” – Drunken Werewolf

“There’s a new band in town: Eternal Drag. Made up of members from San Francisco indie pop standards such as The Dodos and Social Studies as well as lo-fi band White Fence, the group has an impressive lineage right from the get-go. The band is delightfully subdued in nature with dreamy vocals and subtle instrumentation to match. This month, Eternal Drag released two songs on their newly-established Bandcamp. “Another Bottle” is a sleepy track with vocals and lyrics reminiscent of Harvest-era Neil Young. The other track, “Hovering,” is laden with vocal harmonizing and constant, droning guitar work. You can listen here to the few tracks Eternal Drag has so graciously provided and see them Saturday night at the Hemlock Tavern, where they’ll be performing their first show.” – The Bay Bridged
